Kendra Eller, Academic Interventionist

             Mrs. Eller

My name is Kendra Eller and I am an Academic Interventionist at Mitchell Neilson Schools.  I received my Masters Degree from The University of Tennessee in 1997.  Throughout my college and teaching careers, I have had experience teaching PreK, Kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd Grades.  I moved to Murfreesboro in 2001 and began teaching 1st grade.  In 2010 I received training and became a Reading Recovery Teacher and a Title 1 teacher.  Since then, my position has evolved into my current role as an Academic Interventionist.  I LOVE MY JOB!! There are so many things I love about this part of my teaching career.  First of all, I love Reading!! The development of reading is such an amazing thing for me.  I love to work with children and help foster that development and watching this unfold is such a rewarding experience.

Another very important part of my life is my family.  I have a wonderful husband Dexton, and 3 beautiful and adventuresome children.  I have a daughter Delaney, and two sons, Jake and Mac.  We enjoy spending time together and it usually involves sports.  We love football!! We also love to vacation together at the beach.  We are usually very busy, but I love every minute of it!
